True to the traditions of Bordeaux each wine of Château Duplessy is aged a minimum of 12 months in 225 liter French Limousin oak barrels which are used a maximum of 3 years.

A new winery was constructed containing 19 stainless steel fermentation and storage vats of various capacity with total storage capability of 1750 hl.

Special care is taken to assure that grapes coming from different areas are kept separate in order to give the wine maker every opportunity to select the best lots and assemble the final blend to obtain the characteristics of Duplessy wine.

The wines of Duplessy may be consumed as a young fruitful wine but it is recommended that aging 5 to 6 years will bring out the special bouquet and fruit flavors of our wines.

All bottling is done at the Château under the strict control of our winemaker using a modern automatic filling system. Only the finest natural corks are used.

Duplessy wines enhance meals of many varieties. Whether game, beef, meats with sauces, special fish dishes and even a fine cheese will benefit from our wines.
