By taking advantage of a South/South-West exposure, the Château Duplessy produces a well constructed, round and powerful wine. With its gravel soil and clayey limestone subsoil, Duplessy creates its wines from the Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc wines.

All vineyards are located a short distance from the Château and the sloping landscape affords maximum exposure to the sun.

The harvest is carried out the traditional way, by hand. To avoid damage the grapes are transported in trays to the cellar where they are delicately laid onto the sorting table.

The vineyards are currently being converted to organic viticulture.
